I think the most important word in the English language is: RESPECT and the equivilent word in any language.  The attitute of respect for my fellow man, the environment, all living creatures, etc. is the beginning of wisdom, understanding and progress on any level.

We are living in history and, thus, a part of it. I enjoy current events and learning about the world in which we all live.  My passion for knowledge and understanding directs me to places and people from every spectrum of the globe.  It is only by having the knowledge that gives validity to our prespective for the sake of either changing or encouraging what we see around us.

As written in the book by Thomas Friedman, “The World is Flat” we have become a global society where knowledge is avaiable to everyone on many avenues.    Its great to be a part of a global community  full of people helping instead of hurting each other; building instead of destroying; being a part of the solution instead of a bystander.
